G Lasya Nanditha, a 36-year-old Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA, died in an automobile accident close to Sultanpur in the Sangareddy district of Telangana. Her automobile struck a barrier on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) while she was traveling from Basara back to Hyderabad in the unfortunate incident.
Interestingly, Lasya had an almost fatal experience before. She narrowly avoided death in a broken elevator in Boinpally in December 2023, not long after being elected as an MLA. Due to overloading, she and the other people locked with her had a lucky escape when the elevator broke. Her recent accident that took her life was her third near death experience in around a month.
Details of the Tragedy: Lasya Nanditha’s Fatal Injuries and Critical Condition
Nanditha’s injuries from the Sangareddy accident were deadly; she was killed by the impact. Regretfully, due to severe injuries, both her driver and personal security officer (PSO) are in critical condition. The front half of the vehicle was seriously damaged in the crash.
The driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, according to Sangareddy Superintendent of Police CH Rupesh, who also claimed that this is a possible explanation for the accident. Following the collision, Nanditha was rushed to a private hospital nearby, where she was pronounced dead by medical professionals. In order to conduct a post-mortem examination, her body s currently being transported to a government hospital.
Lasya Nanditha was born in Hyderabad in 1986, and her untimely death leaves Telangana’s political scene severely lacking. Her ten-year political career, which included her transition from corporator to MLA, adds depth to the grief surrounding her sudden death.
