Abdul Kalam, one of India’s most revered individuals, takes center stage every year on October 15 as India unites to commemorate World Students’ Day. This day, established in 2010, is dedicated to honoring the incredible life and contributions of the former president of India, a renowned scientist, inspirational figure, and visionary leader.

Dr. Kalam’s life was marked by steadfast devotion to his nation, a dedication to education, and an unflinching affection for students. He was more than just a statesman; he was also a scientist, a professor, and an author whose effect is still felt by people today.

These projects attempted to further ballistic missile technology by building on the SLV program’s technological achievements. Dr.Abdul  Kalam played a crucial role in the development of India’s superior missile program and its defense and technological accomplishments.

Dr. Abdul  Kalam was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honor, in 1997 and the Padma Vibhushan in 1990 in honor of his outstanding services. These honors paid homage to his unwavering dedication to education, his enthusiasm for motivating young people, and his lasting impact on countless lives in addition to his scientific brilliance.
