According to Osbourne, West asked to have a vocal-free portion of the performance used, but Osbourne rejected his request because West was deemed an antisemite.

Ozzy’s manager and wife, Sharon , offered more information on the circumstances. She said that they get a lot of requests for songs like “War Pigs,” but they turned down West’s request right away. Respect for other artists and legal issues are equally important, according to Sharon.
