Carey takes the lead in her brand-new, eccentric video. A clock shows the remaining seconds till Halloween’s midnight strike. Then, as if it were a scene from a fanciful Christmas film, a vault opens and Mariah Carey appears, encased in a block of frost.
Hairdryers are then used by iconic Halloween figures, who are likely en route to other celebrations, to break the singer out of her icy cocoon. Mariah bursts out shouting, “It’s time!” with delight. After making her declaration, Carey dances to the classic song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” while snowflakes fall all around her in the enthralling video’s finale.
Christmas Queen
A well-known and beloved connection exists between Mariah Carey and the holiday season. Her Christmas single from 1994, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” has become a contemporary classic and peaked at number one on the charts in 2019.
Over the years, Mariah has graciously accepted the title of “Queen of Christmas” that her fans have lovingly bestowed on her, and she has made an active contribution to the song’s ongoing popularity.

The song that has sold the most Christmases overall is still “All I Want for Christmas Is You”. In 2019, it celebrated its 25th anniversary by rising to the top of the charts. The song debuted at the top of Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Holiday 100 Songs list the previous year.
With the arrival of the holiday season and Mariah Carey’s wacky proclamation that “It’s time,” her well-known hit is poised to once again grace joyous celebrations worldwide.
