Haryana Artist Raju Punjabi Passes Away at 40, Leaving Behind a Musical Legacy

Raju Punjabi, a Haryana artist who rose to fame for singing songs in the region’s dialect, passed away on Tuesday at a Hisar private clinic. He was 40.

Raju was hospitalized for an unexplained ailment about 10 days ago, and according to a number of Haryana news sources, his condition worsened to such an extent that he needed assistance with ventilators

After briefly being returned home after displaying indications of improvement, the singer was once again taken to the hospital when his condition began to deteriorate.

Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, paid homage to X, previously known as Twitter. He claimed that Raju Punjabi’s passing caused an irreversible setback to the Haryana entertainment industry.

Popular songs by Raju Punjabi include “Aacha Lage Se,” “Bhang Mere Yaara Ne,” “Desi Desi,” “Last Peg,” and “Tu Cheez Lajawab.” Additionally, he collaborated on a musical piece with Sapna Choudhary.

The singer’s body will reportedly be transported to his hometown of Rawatsar Kheda, where his final cremation will be conducted. He was presently residing in Azadnagar, Hisar. After learning of his passing, his fans and family members have begun traveling to Hisar.

On August 12, Raju Punjabi made public his final single, “Aapse Milke Yaara Humko Accha Laga Tha.” On August 22, the singer passed away, leaving behind an indelible mark that his admirers will always associate with his music.
