Powerhouse Glenn Maxwell of Australia showcased his T20 prowess by smashing his fifth century in the second T20I match against the West Indies in Adelaide. With 12 fours and eight sixes in his blistering 120 runs off 55 balls, the player led Australia to a menacing total of 241 for four in 20 overs.

Record Matcher: Equalling Rohit Sharma’s Performance

In addition to propelling Australia’s innings, Glenn’s century matched Rohit Sharma of India for the most T20I hundreds. But Maxwell is unique in that he holds the record for the most undefeated hundreds in T20Is (5), beating Rohit in this particular category. In 102 T20 International matches for Australia, the 35-year-old batsman has amassed 2405 runs at an excellent average of 30.83 and a striking rate of 155.26.

Maxwell’s Unbeatable Records and Stellar Support

Marcus Stoinis played a supporting role during his innings, contributing to an 82-run partnership. Maxwell found even more support in Tim David, leading to an amazing fifth-wicket stand. Although the Australian Player’s achievement adds an extra layer to Rohit Sharma’s already remarkable T20I career, Sharma has five hundreds in 151 T20Is.
