Explosive device confirmed by CM Siddaramaiah
Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah ruled out the possibility of a gas leak after confirming that a low-intensity makeshift explosive device was the source of the explosion. Since investigations are ongoing, the precise cause has not yet been identified.

In a press release, Bengaluru City Police stated the HAL police had filed a complaint under the Explosives Substances Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act of 1967. The fact that the investigation is still underway and involves seven teams from the Central Crime Branch (CCB) highlights how serious the matter is.
Amount of People Injured in The Rameshwaram Cafe Blast
Officials reassured the ten injured people that their lives were not in jeopardy as they were being treated. Among those impacted by the explosion was a woman who had burn injuries to the extent of nearly 40%. The event made some worry about how safe it is for customers during busy hours.
CM’s Urgent Message on X
On X, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah urged the opposition parties to forgo politics and work with the government on such important issues. He promised that after the investigation was finished, the offenders would face harsh consequences.
According to preliminary indications, the explosion happened when someone left a bag behind at the Rameshwaram cafe after eating breakfast. The goal of the investigation is to determine what caused the incident, which includes reviewing CCTV evidence.
