Nikhil Gupta, commonly known as Nick, is an Indian citizen who has been prosecuted by the US Justice Department in relation to an abortive attempt to kill Sikh separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a US citizen of Indian descent, in New York. Charges of’murder-for-hire’ against Gupta have exposed a startling global conspiracy.

It is said that Gupta worked with an Indian public servant known as “CC-1.” This government agent oversaw the plan to kill Pannun; he was described as a “senior field officer” with connections to intelligence and security. In this instance, the identification of the targeted person was made public by the Justice Department.

Nikhil Gupta, who was identified as CC-1’s associate, admitted to being involved in the trafficking of guns and illegal drugs internationally in talks with CC-1 and other parties.
