The shooting incident outside the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan unfolded like a storyline from a tense crime film, with a complicated network of players and motivations .
Salman Khan lives in Bandra, Mumbai. On a calm Sunday morning, two attackers on a motorcycle opened fire outside Galaxy Apartments, then quickly left the area. The public was surprised to see people wearing headgear and backpacks fire towards the actor’s home in CCTV footage.

Mumbai Police investigated the case thoroughly and promptly filed a formal complaint against “unidentified persons” under the Arms Act and IPC section 307 (attempt to murder).

Since November 2022, Salman Khan’s security has been heightened to Y-Plus in response to threats made by gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar.
