Titans Player Caleb Farley’s Father Lost in an Explosion Tragedy

Caleb Farley, a cornerback for the Tennessee Titans, lost his father on Tuesday morning following an explosion that destroyed his Mooresville, North Carolina, home close to Lake Norman.
In November of last year, Caleb Farley was put on the injured reserve list due to a back problem. He has appeared in 12 games throughout his initial two seasons, but as the Titans’ preparatory camp comes to an end this week, he has been classified as physically unfit to participate.

On Tuesday, among the debris, His father Robert Farley’s body was discovered. Local resident Caleb Farley, who bought the house for his father, wasn’t there when it exploded.
Christian Rogers, 25, was discovered leaving the shattered home by first responders when they arrived at the property on Tuesday just shortly after midnight. Rogers, who was a family friend, was taken to Charlotte’s Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center after suffering a concussion. It is reported that he is awake and conscious but is currently not released.

The precise cause of the incident is being investigated by local and federal authorities.
Authorities are concentrating on a pipeline for natural gas and think it was a malfunction that originated in a bedroom. Emergency personnel in Iredell County believe that gas built up over time and eventually made its way to a nearby ignite source.

After learning about Caleb Farley’s passing during a practice session in Nashville, Titans coach Mike Vrabel had the players take a knee in what appeared to be an offering of prayers. Vrabel vowed that his teammates would assist him in any way they could.
