Siddharth

Not only has Siddharth Anand’s latest film, “Fighter,” starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, received a chilly reception, but it has also caused a hilarious meme frenzy on social media, disappointing the director. Users have criticized Siddharth’s perspective, proving that his attempt to explain the film’s reception was a failure.

Box Office Performance Despite Criticism

The focus has turned from the movie’s box office performance to Siddharth Anand’s assessment of the audience’s reaction, even though the picture managed to earn about Rs 150 crore in India within 10 days of its release.

The Differing Opinion

Anand said in an interview that “I would estimate that 90% of our population has never flown in an airplane or visited an airport, so how would they know what’s occurring in the movie? I’m dissecting this.

Critiquing Siddharth’s Viewpoint

Anand comments were swiftly criticized on social media by people, who pointed out that they were out of date and unconnected to the audience. Widespread criticism followed the attempt to justify the lack of enthusiasm for air travel by pointing out that a large portion of Indians were not exposed to it.

Anand’s remark, specifically the words “90% of Indians,” set off a meme frenzy in which netizens expressed their giggles and skepticism at the filmmaker’s point of view through humorous content.

Some say Anand’s explanation is too simple and doesn’t consider that people have different tastes. Critics think blaming the lack of air travel experience is not the real reason for how people feel about the movie. They say the film’s essence, or the important part of it, should be understood by everyone, no matter their experiences. So, Siddharth’s explanation has become more talked about than the movie itself.
