Margolyes'

Miriam Margolyes, well-known for playing Professor Sprout in the “Harry Potter” movies, has some humorous worries about grownups who are still very much involved in the wizarding community. She questioned the adult population’s ongoing love with “Harry Potter” in a recent conversation with 1News in New Zealand.

The Bewildering Charm

In a lighthearted way, Margolyes said, “I worry about Harry Potter fans because they should be over that by now.” She underlined that the phenomenon has been there for 25 years and that children are the main audience for J.K. Rowling’s magical world. She was forced to admit how confused she was that some followers were still enthralled with Hogwarts.

She thanked everyone for her part in the series and called it “wonderful,” but she was adamant that it was over.

Margolyes’ Humorous Distinction

Margolyes, who rose to fame in the English comedy series “Blackadder,” distinguished between her sitcom followers from the 1980s and those who were fans of “Harry Potter”. Her lighthearted perspective on the enduring enchantment made many chuckle as she pointed out that the magical spell created by the wizarding world was supposed to have worn off by now.

Margolyes injects some humor into the conversation, reminding everyone that everything has its proper place and time, even fantastic stories. With the publication of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” in 1997, the enchanted voyage got underway, leaving a mystical legacy that has captured the attention of readers of all ages.
