The state of Gujarat has experienced a worrisome rise in heart attack deaths, with 1,052 deaths in the last half-year. Since 80% of the victims were shockingly between the ages of 11 and 25, immediate action was taken to solve this unique health crisis.

Youthful Tragedy: Startling Statistics Raise Alarms

The data, which was made public by State Education Minister Kuber Dindor, highlights an issue that is going unnoticed by young people. Remarkably, a sizable fraction of the dead belonged to the 11–25 age range, defying the popular belief that heart attacks only affect older people.

Living in Fear: Heart Attacks Occur During Ordinary Activities

The young people are currently immersed in panic as terrible occurrences happen during ordinary activities. Unexpected heart attacks have claimed the lives of young people who were playing cricket or taking part in the traditional dance style of garba during the Navratri celebrations, leaving a lasting impression on the community.

Proactive Measures: CPR Training for Educators

The Gujarat Education Department has taken proactive action in response to this health catastrophe. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), an essential skill for handling cardiac emergencies, will be taught to around two lakh college professors and school teachers.

The state of Gujarat is experiencing an unexpected increase in heart attacks among young people. However, there is hope as the Education Department and educators are working together to create a culture of readiness and fortitude in the face of this silent health issue.
